Role Purpose
The Strategic Marketing & Campaigns Lead is responsible for developing and executing market engagement strategies that create qualified opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and increase probability of win across targeted defence and security markets. The role supports business growth through market intelligence, campaign development, customer engagement planning, strategic partnerships, exhibitions, visits, capture activities and proposal support while ensuring compliance with export control requirements.
Objectives of the Role
Drive market development initiatives that support annual orders, pipeline and revenue targets.
Develop market positioning and country-specific go-to-market strategies aligned with business priorities.
Build strategic relationships with customers, government stakeholders, defence agencies and industry partners.
Generate actionable market intelligence to identify emerging requirements and competitive threats.
Improve opportunity capture effectiveness and probability of win through structured campaigns.
Lead exhibitions, executive engagements, customer visits and demonstrations.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute integrated market development and campaign strategies to support annual order intake objectives.
Conduct market assessments, competitor analysis and customer intelligence gathering to identify new business opportunities.
Build and maintain country, customer and opportunity engagement plans aligned with growth priorities.
Support opportunity shaping activities through stakeholder analysis, campaign planning and customer engagement strategies.
Conduct gated opportunity reviews and maintain campaign health assessments to strengthen pipeline quality and win probability.
Support RFI, RFQ, RFP and proposal activities through market analysis and competitive intelligence.
Work closely with Line of Business leaders to develop capture strategies for high-value pursuits.
Establish and strengthen relationships with customers, government agencies, defence organisations and strategic partners.
Support teaming arrangements, industrial partnerships and offset obligations in target markets.
