The role
As a Logistics Operative, you'll be part of a collaborative stores and logistics team responsible for supporting the storage, distribution and control of equipment and materials. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, values teamwork and wants to build a rewarding career supporting defence and aviation operations. You'll gain experience in inventory management, stock control and logistics processes while contributing to work that helps create a safe and secure world.
Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
Maintain the safe storage, receipt, issue and control of equipment, spares, and consumables.
Use inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock and asset records.
Support delivery and collection activities across the site.
Assist with stocktaking, auditing and inventory management activities.
Process disposals and materials in accordance with established procedures.
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Henlow.
Essential experience of the Supplier
Demonstrable experience working within a logistics, stores, warehouse or similar operational environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good computer literacy, including experience using Microsoft Office applications.
