Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Electrical Technical Designer (Experienced, Lead, or Senior) in Oklahoma City, OK. This position will provide engineering support across the Boeing portfolio of products, to include – but not limited to – Boeing Military Aircraft and Military Derivative Aircraft (AEW&C, AWACS, C-32/C-40, E-4B, VC-25A, KC-767, B-1B, B-2, B-52 and others).

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced, Lead or Senior Level Technical Designers.
Position Responsibilities
Level 3:
Develops, maintains and releases electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying company, industry and governmental standards. Using design tools prepares documentation and incorporates design changes. Creates, develops and maintains systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and assisting in identifying design discrepancies. Supports engineering system design and functionality validation activities. Develops and maintains product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex. Coordinates activities and products with internal partners and external suppliers. Works under general direction.
Level 4:
Leads, develops, maintains and releases electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying Company, industry and governmental standards for multiple customers. Manages, interprets and develops design requirements. Uses design tools to document and maintain configuration design control. Manages, creates, develops and maintains complex systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and integrating systems elements.
