Job Description
L3Harris is seeking Systems Integration & Test engineers in Rochester NY to work on a dynamic team to develop EO/IR solutions. They will have SI&T Engineering responsibilities consisting of the development, integration & test of electro-optic systems for airborne and ground surveillance. Candidate will work closely with cross functional members of in engineering, manufacturing, & program management to design, develop & build high performance systems.
Essential Functions
Develop system integration concepts & test plan approach
Ensure system requirements are met and evaluate performance measures
Perform system and subsystem integration, technical risk assessment, technical planning, verification and validation, and supportability analyses
Design, develop, and release custom test equipment (HW and SW)
Coordinate with Operations for production STE/ATE requirements, automation, and user interface
Develop custom test equipment procedures and instructions
Manage upgrades to STE for obsolescence / enhancements
Maintain library of preferred test equipment / components and common architecture standards
Design Qualification program: plans, procedures, and test equipment
Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
