The role
As a Procurement Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting some of the United Kingdom's most exciting clean energy and infrastructure programmes. Working across major projects, you'll partner with stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams to deliver innovative procurement solutions that drive value, performance, and operational success.
This is an opportunity to influence critical procurement decisions across complex engineering projects while developing your expertise within the nuclear, defence, and clean energy sectors. Your work will directly contribute to projects that support national infrastructure, energy security, and the transition to a more sustainable future. Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
Managing sourcing and tendering activities to deliver cost-effective and technically robust supply chain solutions.
Leading supplier negotiations to maximise commercial value and secure successful project outcomes.
Developing procurement strategies through early engagement with stakeholders and project teams.
Monitoring supplier performance, managing supply chain risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborating with Quality, Engineering, Planning, Project Management, and commercial teams to ensure successful delivery of materials and services.
