As Environmental Assurance Chapter Lead, you'll provide strategic leadership across environmental governance, compliance, assurance, and continuous improvement, partnering with leaders across the organisation to embed best practice and strengthen environmental performance.
What you'll be doing
Lead Air New Zealand's environmental compliance and assurance programme, ensuring regulatory obligations are met across the business
Provide strategic oversight of environmental governance, management systems, audits, and assurance activities that strengthen organisational performance
Identify, assess, and manage environmental risks, supporting informed decision making across operational and corporate teams
Lead environmental incident investigations and ensure corrective and preventative actions are effectively implemented through to closure
Monitor environmental performance using data, assurance findings, and emerging trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Provide trusted, evidence-based advice to senior leaders on environmental obligations, regulatory requirements, and risk management
Partner across the organisation to embed consistent environmental management practices that protect our operations, reputation, and communities.
