Job Description
Procure materials and services for government and commercial programs including but not limited to actives, passives, connectors, cables, chemicals, software, computer hardware, services, and COTS items.
Essential Functions
Develop and manage RFQ/RFP process, negotiate agreements and manage/administer the contract for medium to complex sourcing requirements.
Evaluates bids and selects suppliers based on price, delivery, quality, and service to obtain best overall value for L3Harris.
Acts as a primary L3Harris point of contact to manage overall relationships with critical suppliers to facilitate long-term partnerships.
Interprets FAR/DFAR/ITAR laws, rules and regulations regarding import/export control certifications and licenses.
Tracks all Purchase Orders through reports, works AP matched exceptions, open commitments, receiving discrepancies, returns, supplier discrepancies, and problem reports/supplier corrective action responses. Interfaces with receiving and accounting to resolve issues.
Provides timely follow up on all awards through completion of order using system reports to status for program teams.
Meets established goals, objectives, and performance metrics and solves problems of increased scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
