Unique Skills:
This position will be primarily focused on writing Gulfstream Customer Bulletins (CBs). Experience with aircraft mechanical maintenance and G700 / G800 airframes is preferred.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in aviation maintenance, eng technology or related curriculum or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. An A&P license and 4 years of related aircraft experience in addition to the 4 years combined experience may offset the degree. 4 years related aircraft maintenance and operations experience is required.. Position Purpose:Responsible (individually or with other team members) as the primary source for the writing of major portions of technical bulletins. To include Customer Bulletins, Aircraft Service Changes and other technical documents for operators. Support the complete workflow process to ensure successful completion of each document and their distribution. Complies with established quality processes to ensure accuracy, ease of use and timely delivery of all content. Under minimal direction, provides advice and guidance to the company and the customer on installation, service, repair, replacement, modification and maintenance of Gulfstream aircraft systems and support equipment for Technical Bulletins. Builds customer relationships with regards to troubleshooting and solving the entire spectrum of aircraft systems, support equipment, and operational problems pertaining to our in-service product. Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
Develop technical bulletin content by interpreting engineering drawings and data.
Conduct reviews and analyze technical documents to gain a thorough understanding of how complex systems operate and how they are to be integrated into technical documentation to provide the end user with the level of data to support the change or update of the aircraft system.
