Job Summary The Aviation and Cargo Security Agent is responsible for day-to-day customer service, safety and security in a highly regulated environment within the confines of the Airport Operations. The position encompasses functions such as passenger handling, wheelchair passenger assistance and baggage tracing to the highest standard while complying with State, Airport and Swissport Standard Operating Procedures and Policies. Your activities Aviation Security Job Functions include but are not limited to: Aircraft guarding Access control to aircrafts and airport facilities Aircraft cabin search Body search of passengers and airport staff Baggage search Baggage reconciliation Catering security Document verification Passenger profiling X-ray screening of cargo, hold baggage and hand baggage Perimeter control and patrolling designated high security areas Escorting of bags, cargo, etc. from one location to another to prevent tampering. Ensure safety measures and control of the import and export of cargo, baggage, packages to prevent unauthorized entry by unauthorized staff or other personnel. Screening of employees and individuals and their hand baggage prior entering Company compound. Ensure civilians visiting the Company compound are in compliance with Company rules and regulations including dress code, behaviour, etc. Prevent persons from entering or leaving the Company’s compound with unauthorized articles, packages, bags, cargo, etc. Report any signs and symptoms and eff…
