As an Aircraft Technician, you’ll work as part of a professional maintenance team under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE). You’ll perform a range of maintenance tasks on aircraft and components, ensuring full compliance with approved procedures, regulatory standards, and manufacturer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and approved structural repairs on aircraft, engines, and components in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory procedures.
Perform component replacements and other maintenance activities as directed by the immediate supervisor or LAE.
Use and interpret approved documentation such as the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM).
Assist Licensed Aircraft Engineers in aircraft walk-around checks, troubleshooting, defect rectification, and modification work.
Follow all safety procedures for aircraft refuelling, fluid replenishment, and system charging/servicing.
Promote a strong safety culture by identifying and reporting potential hazards and ensuring work areas are clean, organized, and free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in all work locations, including ramp, stands, vehicles, and toolboxes.
