Job Description
The Government Compliance D is responsible for maintaining government property accountability across programs with diverse operational needs, customer expectations, and compliance requirements. This role requires prior experience, critical thinking, and sound judgment to support complex program demands effectively. Key responsibilities include receiving government-owned property, creating repair jobs for failed units, and preparing and managing shipments of mission-critical equipment used by soldiers overseas. Because this equipment directly supports operational readiness, the position requires a strong sense of urgency, accuracy, and accountability. The role also calls for someone who can work with minimal oversight and limited training, quickly become productive, integrate into existing processes, and independently manage daily responsibilities.
This position also involves frequent coordination with cross-functional teams in logistics, repair, shipping, compliance, operations, and program support. Strong communication skills are essential for working both within and outside the department to resolve discrepancies, clarify requirements, and ensure property is properly tracked throughout its lifecycle.
