As an airline, safety is our most important principle. And our Corporate Safety team is responsible for making sure safety is top of mind in every action we take. From conducting flight safety investigations and educating pilots on potential safety threats to implementing medical programs and helping prevent employee injuries, our team is instrumental in running a safe and successful airline for our customers and employees.
Job Overview and Responsibilities
Coordinates the SESMT Team, providing guidance and conducting the daily basis routine of the team, as well as the occupational hygiene actions in the company's units. Deals with leaders across all divisions to ensure compliance and discuss the development of actions to control occupational risks. Develops and implements programs and procedures relating to the various legal requirements of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) applicable to the business. Develops specific studies in the area of performance, as well as to issue specialized opinions in occupational safety engineering, projects, evaluations of the labor condition, expert examinations and audits.
Technically coordinates the SESMT team on a daily basis, provinding guidance and conducting periodic meetings with the team of Occupational Safety Technicians and Occupational Physicians, in order to promote action plans for the company's occupational health and safety issues.
Deals daily with leaders across all divisions to ensure compliance with safety procedures and discuss the development of actions to control occupational risks.
Coordinate occupational hygiene actions in the company's units, interacting with partners inside and outside of the organization, aiming at a safe and healthy work environment and continuous improvement of processes
