Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Engineer Quality to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. This role supports production activities for marine propulsion and power generation equipment. This is a 100% on-site role.
What you'll get to do
Assist in developing, modifying, applying, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into semi-finished or finished product.
Partner with engineering and manufacturing under the guidance of senior staff to establish and uphold quality standards, including supporting MRB activities to address quality issues and maintain production flow.
Support audits of quality systems, help identify deficiencies, and participate in implementing corrective actions that meet reliability standards and documentation requirements.
Help revise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
Review contracts, statements of work (SOWs), and drawings with oversight to evaluate, interpret, and apply company practices and applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9000, AS9102, MIL, IPC).
