Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Manager Quality 2 to join our team in Baltimore, MD.
The Manager Quality 2 will lead a diverse team of professionals that establish and maintain sector-wide policies, procedures, and toolsets for product quality assurance and nonconformance management within the enterprise manufacturing execution system(MES).
What you will get to do
Direct supervision/management of staff members, responsible for providing objective-oriented direction to subordinates utilizing management guidelines & general policies.
Monitor key process indicators (KPIs) of team performance.
Lead the development and enhancement of the quality related functions in the MES system tool in terms of nonconformance management and other product quality assurance functionality.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devise and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
Support the sector Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance Program to ensure conformity with the AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
