Are you an experienced painter who takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail? Join our dedicated aircraft maintenance team and play an important role in keeping aircraft looking their best and meeting the highest aviation standards.
As a Workshop Technician (Painter), you will carry out painting, refinishing, repair, and touch-up work on aircraft interiors and exteriors. You’ll work alongside experienced aviation professionals in a safety-focused environment, with opportunities to develop your technical skills and grow your career.
What You’ll Do
Prepare, paint, repair, and touch up aircraft interior and exterior surfaces.
Perform high-quality paint finishing work both in the workshop and on aircraft.
Use spray guns, sanders, grinders, and other painting and finishing equipment.
Read and follow material specifications, drawings, and engineering instructions.
Ensure aircraft are properly protected throughout the painting process.
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, 5S, and housekeeping.
Contribute ideas and improvements to make our processes safer, more efficient, and cost-effective.
Keep workshop tools and equipment in good working condition.
Complete work records and use our systems to track materials and work progress.
Support other workshop activities as required.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in paint finishing, automotive, industrial, or aerospace painting is preferred.
A background in aerospace or aircraft painting is an advantage.
Comfortable working at heights, on ladders and platforms, and in confined spaces.
Experience using painting and workshop equipment such as spray guns, sanders, grinders, lifts, or forklifts.
Trade school certification or apprenticeship is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints or engineering documentation is an advantage.
