Are you passionate about improving manufacturing performance and building strong supplier partnerships? As a Supply Chain Development Project Manager, you will serve as a key liaison between Gulfstream and one of our major suppliers in the Atlanta area. You will lead supply chain improvement efforts, solve complex operational challenges, and help ensure suppliers can meet production demands while delivering quality products on time. This is a highly visible role with significant impact across the business and expected regional travel of up to 75%.
What You Will Do
Serve as the primary Gulfstream contact for major supplier(s) in the Atlanta area.
Lead supplier assessments to evaluate production readiness, capacity, and operational performance.
Identify improvement opportunities and drive action plans through completion.
Partner with suppliers to improve delivery performance, quality, lead times, and overall efficiency.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Analyze supplier operations, production planning, materials management, capacity planning, and workflow processes.
Support supplier transition plans while minimizing impact to Gulfstream production schedules.
Facilitate daily operational meetings, recovery plans, and milestone reviews with suppliers and internal teams.
Act as a liaison between suppliers and Gulfstream stakeholders to ensure clear communication and issue resolution.
Develop and monitor performance metrics, capacity plans, training plans, and project plans.
