About the role
Performs intermediate-level accounting (US GAAP/IFRS) to ensure corporate, tax, and local statutory compliance. Manages auditor relationships, internal controls, financial statements, and moderately complex balance sheet reconciliations.
Performs a variety of accounting duties at intermediate level, applying principles of accounting (USGAAP and/or IFRS).
Ensures compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, norms, rules, and practices. Ensures proper administration of local statutory reporting and tax accounting requirements. Administers relationships with auditors, and other related agencies as required. Ensures that internal control of accounting systems is in place and maintained to safeguard the company assets and avoid liabilities. Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations of moderate complexity. Prepares financial statements for statutory local compliance.
Key requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
* Four (4) years accounting experience.
* Local professional certification.
* Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
* Computer literate.
* Spreadsheet experience preferred.
* Excellent analytical, mathematical, and communications skills (written/oral).
* Fluent in English.
