Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Pilot USMC Aviation to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at one of the following Northrop Grumman (NG) locations: Redondo Beach, CA, Hollywood, MD, Orlando, FL, Beavercreek, OH, Warner Robbins, GA.
Roles and Responsibilities will include:
Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) guidance to the engineers developing mission planning solutions for USMC aviation platforms to include, but not limited to, user interface / user experience (UI/UX), mission planning workflow, operational usage, and deployment considerations
Conduct briefings and demonstrations to aircraft platform Program Offices, Headquarters Marine Corps, Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1), Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) community, and other government agencies
Collaborate with customer pilots for feedback on NG mission planning products towards improved warfighter capability
Deliver training and address help desk questions from the USMC pilot community
Basic Qualifications:
Sr. Principal Level - Bachelor's degree with 8 years aviation experience; OR Masters’ degree with 6 years aviation experience; OR a PhD with 4 years aviation experience
