Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Manager 3 to join our team of qualified individuals within our Flight Operations organization. This position will be located at Ellsworth AFB, SD with initial onboarding and training located at another CONUS location prior to location assignment.

Key Responsibilities
Leads the daily operations of the aircraft team to include leading, managing, motivating, developing, and engaging a team of managers, aircraft mechanics, and technicians in a dynamic environment
Oversees maintenance servicing, repairing and overhauling aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight
Ensures customer maintenance requirements are met
Schedules maintenance and inspections
Releases aircraft for flight
Recommends procedure changes to improve maintainability of aircraft and timely inspections
Consults manufacturers manuals for specifications and determines feasibility of repair or replacement
