What You Will Do
This Repair Design Engineer (RDE) position is with the Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering (ASE) Military Repair Group. The RDE is responsible for the development of repairs for military engines. This includes development of the repair concept, writing of the repair, obtaining approvals, and coordination with the end user.
The ideal candidate would be expected to take ownership of several concurrently running projects that may include duties such as organizing testing activities, supporting shop floor active production requests, coordinating approvals and technical discussions as well as liaising with internal and external Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Other responsibilities will include leveraging experience to assist newer engineers, as well as coaching and mentoring.
Participate in a multi-discipline team to establish repair design requirements and ensure repairs are safe, durable, and meet the quality requirements of the OEM parts.
