This job is a member of the Cabin Projects Engineering Team within the Integrated Operations Division.
Responsible for supporting Engineering activities to define, develop, and implement new cabins and aircraft equipment. This job also establishes maintenance programs and standards for the ongoing maintenance of aircraft and components within area(s) of responsibility.
What you'll do
Lead aircraft cabin modification projects from requirements definition through certification, installation, and entry into service while managing technical scope, schedule, risks, stakeholder expectations, and overall project execution. Assist in completion of projects outside of leadership assignments
Serve as the primary technical focal point for assigned cabin modification projects, coordinating activities across Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Marketing, suppliers, MROs, regulatory authorities, and with other airline departments.
Develops action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or component engineering projects and pursues final dispositions according to assessed priorities
Prepares Engineering documents to implement technical dispositions by providing customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections or other maintenance actions which provide benefits in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives
Coordinate technical activities and deliverables with aircraft manufacturers, seat suppliers, IFE providers, cabin interior vendors, and modification organizations to ensure that Engineering dispositions are properly substantiated in accordance with applicable regulations and company manuals.
