Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join the Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO) organization. In this role, you will support mechanical design execution, cross-functional engineering activities, technical problem-solving, and delivery of engineering commitments. You will collaborate with Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT), Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT), System Integrated Product Team (SIPT), Chief Engineers, customers, operations, quality, supply chain, and suppliers to resolve technical challenges, manage design risks, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Work Schedule: Alternate Work Week (AWW) — Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM.
What You Will Do
Execute mechanical design activities and medium-scale engineering projects, coordinating cross-functional tasks to meet scope, schedule, budget, and technical requirements.
Perform mechanical design analyses to ensure hardware meets form, fit, and function requirements; evaluate product improvements and support Class II Engineering Changes.
