The Assembler Group Lead supports the Supervisor in overseeing daily departmental operations, guiding team members, managing workflow and helping ensure production is completed safely, efficiently and to quality standards. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing experience, hands-on assembly knowledge and the ability to coach, train and lead others on the production floor.

Position Summary
The Group Leader supports the Supervisor in managing daily departmental operations to ensure efficient, high-quality production. This position requires a strong understanding of department processes, equipment, tools and workflow.
The Group Leader helps guide team members, manage workflow, support scheduling and materials coordination, solve production issues, coach employees and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Perform and demonstrate key departmental tasks with a high level of proficiency
Apply knowledge of standards, equipment, tools and workflow to identify and implement process improvements
Provide daily feedback, coaching and support to team members to enhance performance
Mentor and assist in training new employees
Monitor and adjust workflow to meet production schedules
Support and enforce production policies and procedures
Assign tasks and lead by example through hands-on work
Assist with inspections and ensure product quality before final release
Interact professionally with customers and customer representatives as needed
Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, including team members, management and HR
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow safety protocols and 6S standards
