The role
Saab Australia is seeking aspiring Combat System Safety Engineer to join our growing teams in WA. This role offers the opportunity to develop your System Safety Engineer skills while supporting the delivery and sustainment of leading-edge defence capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain system safety program plans, processes, and frameworks
Conduct hazard identification and risk analysis
Contribute to the development of Safety assessment reports, Safety case documentation.
Perform safety analysis in support of design changes, engineering updates, system problem reports.
Establish and maintain safety requirements, ensuring traceability, verification, and implementation of mitigation controls.
Support broader systems engineering activities and apply engineering governance processes relevant to the safety-critical defence systems.
