Job Description:
Will physically support 4 local L3Harris buildings: JROC, A&E, University and Massri facilities weekday overnights. Provide oversight, direction and training to contract security staff on duty. Respond to Secure Lab alarms, Intrusion alarms and emergencies. Help manage response to 23 remote Domestic/International MCC facility sites on access control issues, intrusion alarms and emergencies during off hours. Complete daily employee international travel report outs to leadership. Conduct DOD interior walking tours. Support Industrial Security team on NISPOM and DOD compliance requirements.
Provides direct support and assistance with access control, visitor management, asset movement, and the day-to-day execution of the personnel security program, meeting NISPOM requirements, SOC activities, and the general security of the Rochester facilities.
Maintains DOD records, NDAs, PQS booklets and security metrics.
Assists in the creation of content related to overall security awareness, training, and education program.
Recognizes improvement opportunities and makes changes to processes to improve efficiency and to provide a better level of service to security customers.
