As a Treasury System Manager, you will deliver compliant treasury operations and support systems transformation, including aircraft financing, derivative settlements and controls. Acting on Emirates’ behalf, you will challenge vendor solutions, validate the Statement of Work SOWs and cloud architecture, support negotiations and optimise internal resources to minimise vendor costs.
In this role, you will
- Manage end-to-end treasury operations, including debt servicing, aircraft financing, derivatives, valuations, settlements, reconciliations, IFRS reporting and controls.
- Functional FIS Quantum support driving automation, reporting enhancements and operational efficiencies.
- Shape the SOW and cloud migration strategy, challenging vendor recommendations and negotiations to optimise delivery and professional services costs.
- Hands on support in cloud migration activities, including UAT, data cleansing, report migration, scheduler/Event Hub migration, integrations and SOP updates.
- Partner with Treasury, IT and external stakeholders to rebuild integrations, resolve issues and ensure successful delivery.
- Build internal capability and self-service, reducing reliance on vendor professional services.
- Explore AI-enabled TMS enhancements to improve efficiency and future-proof treasury operations.
Qualification
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field, with 8+ years’ relevant treasury experience within a large corporate, financial institution, aviation group or similarly complex, capital-intensive organisation.
- Functional FIS Quantum on - prem and SAAS cloud experience with deep system expertise.
- Hands-on treasury experience across debt servicing, financing administration, derivatives and commodity settlements, treasury controls and IFRS-based financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of treasury operations, including structured/aircraft financing, derivatives, commodities, hedge accounting, benchmark rates and trade lifecycle management.
- Expertise in valuations, settlements, confirmations and post-trade controls, including audit, covenant compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Experience in aircraft or structured financing is preferred, including PDPs, complex financing arrangements, covenant management and IFRS treatment of long-term assets; experience in aviation or other asset-intensive industries is advantageous.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver initiatives and business objectives.
- High standards of integrity and sound judgement, with a strong commitment to governance, controls and organisational standards.
You’ll have an edge if you have
- A relevant postgraduate or professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, CIMA or MBA (Finance)
- Knowledge of treasury systems, trading platforms and finance sub-ledgers, with experience supporting system enhancements, reporting and process automation.
- Understanding of global banking practices, market conventions and liquidity structures, with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, including digital tools such as Power BI, RPA and Power Automate.
- Ability to coach and develop team members through guidance, training and feedback.
