General Summary
This senior level role is responsible for complex CI programs, engineered standards strategy, and automation feasibility analysis. Primary Responsibilities
- Own discovery and business case for automation: process selection, KPI baselines, throughput modeling, and risk mitigation.
- Lead cross-site standards program: methods, SOPs, audits, and sustainment with governance.
- Architect WES orchestration logic with WMS/WCS and LMS; define task interleaving, release rules, and exception handling.
- Run pilots (AMR, GTP, robotic case picking) with safety zoning and change management plans; develop phased rollout.
- Implement advanced analytics: predictive dashboards, capacity planning, and labor modeling
- Coach engineers/managers; establish CI portfolio management and benefits tracking; present to stakeholders.
- Provides leadership for complex engineering projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- BS in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 4 years in 3PL/warehouse environments
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt
- Demonstrated delivery of engineered standards and CI/automation results.
- Expert PMTS/time study; advanced statistical analysis; ROI and financial modeling.
- WMS/WES/WCS integration understanding; AutoCAD; SQL/Python/BI proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt; formal project management (PMI/PMP plus).
- Hands-on experience with AMR standards and interoperability; vendor selection and contracting knowledge.
- Experience with digital twins/simulation and scenario testing.
Skills & Abilities
- Strategic leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation.
- Program management across multiple sites; risk management and governance.
- Advanced communication--executive-ready narratives and decks.
- Mentors intermediate and entry-level engineers; support talent development.
