Job Description

Job Title: Stock Clerk (First Shift)

Department: Powerplant Division – Building 3

Reports To: Materials Supervisor/Materials Manager

BASIC FUNCTION

Responsible for routing and tracking of Company / Customer engine parts through the Production process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Allocate components for repair / overhaul. (Vendor)

2. Route engine parts to the appropriate department for in house repairs.

3. Track and maintain a working log for all removed parts by W/O and their locations.

4. Inform the Materials Supervisor of any parts requirements that may cause delays in Production processes.

5. Communicate with the Quality Control Department through the inspection process to avoid delays.

6. Expedite any projects on the Production floor where necessary.

7. Perform any other duties assigned by the Materials Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
