MTU provides maintenance from targeted hospital visits to complete overhauls on over 30+ commercial aero engine and industrial gas turbine lines and has completed more than 18,000 shop visits for over 1,400 customers worldwide. Within this Global network, MTU Maintenance Dallas provides hospital shop and on-site maintenance services. The Shipping/Receiving Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and goods throughout the company’s supply chain operations. This position is responsible for coordinating inventory management and distribution processes and requires a high level of attention to detail as well as strong communication skills.In this role, you will liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and transportation providers to optimize inventory levels, minimize costs, and ensure that production schedules are met. From processing purchase orders to overseeing warehouse operations, this position is essential to maintaining efficient logistics processes and supporting overall business objectivesYour tasksReceiving of MaterialsLoad and unload parts or containers from trucks as required Off load parts or containers from trucks as necessaryInspect incoming materials and documentation for accuracy and shipping damageReceive parts in SAP and assign them to work orders or stockRecord excess materials (if applicable) in the inventory system and place them in designated storage locationsShipping & OutboundReview documentation for outgoing materialsConfirm completion of instructions (vendor repair, shipment within MTU network, or customer delivery)Verify readiness for shipment and ensure safe and compliant packagingWarehouse & OperationsFulfillment of work orders, including picking of partsDeliver parts to designated workstationsManage warehousing of internally removed partsSupport inventory cycle countsConnect parts with the Track & Trace systemYour profileStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate data and improve supply chain performanceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partnersAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail in all logistics and inventory processesLeadership experience or potential is a plus, depending on the roleEducation and Experience:2–5 years of experience in materials management, logistics, or supply chain management preferredFamiliarity with industry practices, standards, and regulations in logistics operationsProficiency in ERP systems and logistics tools; SAP experience is an advantageValid forklift license preferredWillingness to work in a rotating shift schedule or volunteer for a permanent late shiftPhysical Requirements:This position involved pushing, pulling, standing, walking, fine motor manipulation, bending/stooping, etc.Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.We offerMedical, Dental, Vision, and STD insurance are effective immediatelyMedical Flexible Spending AccountsEmployer-paid LTD and Life / AD&D insurance401k with employer matching up to 2% with an additional discretionary contribution to 1% provided from the employerPaid 2 weeks of Vacation, paid 10 days of PTO & HolidaysAnnual Tuition ReimbursementMonthly $30 Gym Membership Reimbursement Your Future at MTU Starts Here!Ready to give your career a boost?
