Your Mission

As a Software Development Engineer (Senior Level), you will contribute to building and enhancing travel technology platforms used globally.
You'll combine hands-on software development with architecture thinking, technical leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement, while helping to shape the future of engineering practices through automation and AI-enabled development.

Software Engineering & Delivery

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications.

• Translate business and technical needs into scalable, user-centered software solutions.

• Support the full software lifecycle, from design and delivery to operations, platform maintenance, and continuous improvement.

• Conduct technical assessments and recommend practical options for implementation.

• Deliver quality software aligned with our engineering principles.

Architecture & Modernization

• Drive modernization initiatives that improve scalability, maintainability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

• Influence technical decisions and promote engineering best practices

• Identify opportunities to simplify system landscapes and reduce technical debt.

• Collaborate on architectural design and technical roadmaps.

APIs, Integrations & Platform Development

• Design and evolve APIs and integrations connecting travel partners, tour operators and external business services.

• Work on business-critical connectivity solutions supporting booking flows, partner services, fraud prevention and enterprise platforms.

• Contribute to cross-team initiatives and platform improvements that impacts customers globally.

AI, Automation & Engineering Growth

• Leverage AI and automation to solve engineering and business challenges.

• Adopt an AI-first mindset to improve software development, quality, and operational efficiency.

• Drive productivity improvements through intelligent tooling and modern engineering practices.

• Support the adoption of emerging technologies and the evolution of engineering practices.

Mentoring & Collaboration

• Contribute to organizational initiatives that strengthen technical culture.

• Foster peer-to-peer learning and support across teams.

• Encourage knowledge sharing and inclusive collaboration.

Experience

• Experience designing, building, and operating enterprise-scale systems.

• Experience contributing to architecture, modernization, and technical decision-making.

• Proven delivery of complex technical solutions in a product-driven environment.

• Ability to work effectively across teams, stakeholders, and business domains.

Technical Skills

• Strong backend expertise with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and enterprise application development.

• Solid understanding of modern architectures, distributed systems, and system integration.

• Experience with automated testing, production support, and operational excellence.

• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and automation to improve productivity and software quality.

• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies is an advantage.
