Reservations Agent (French or Spanish)

VACANCY NOTICE

We are seeking to recruit suitably qualified persons to fill the position of:

JOB SUMMARY

Caribbean Airlines is seeking Reservations Agents who speak fluently in French or Spanish, and who are passionate about Customer Service. The Reservations Agent will report to the Reservations Supervisor and will be expected to service all customers, but will be the go-to for French-speaking or Spanish-speaking clients. The successful candidate will assist in optimizing the utilization of available aircraft space and increasing revenue by providing reservations, ticketing and related support services to passengers, travel agents, line stations, and loyalty customers. He/she will market all company products to potential customers. He/she will meet pre-determined sales and call targets contributing to the company’s profitability.

• Operational Effectiveness: Ensures effective and efficient utilization of assigned resources to achieve customer delivery standards and operational objectives.

• Customer Service: Continuously seeks to capitalize on opportunities to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers by focusing on understanding and effectively resolving requests in a professional and result-oriented manner.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

You must have:

• A minimum of five (5) CXC/GCE Ordinary level passes, including English and Mathematics.
• A strong command of the English language
• At least 1 year’s experience in a Customer Service environment.
• The ability to converse fluently in French or Spanish would be an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office, as well as sound knowledge of a Computerised Reservations System.

You must be willing to work shift hours in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

The successful candidate must be legally authorised to work in Trinidad & Tobago
