Job Title: Mechanic
Department: PMA Division
Reports To: PMA Accountable ManagerInternal applicants must submit an Employee Internal Application form. A signature from your current manager is required to be considered for position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Mechanic is directly responsible to the Accountable Manager PAH.
Mechanics assigned to PMA projects will be thoroughly familiar with all equipment and tooling pertaining to their assigned tasks. They will be familiar with both design data packages and quality system requirements.
The Mechanic is responsible for:
- Properly using all equipment and tooling pertaining to assigned tasks;
- Manufacturing articles and assembling articles in accordance with the approved design data;
- Keeping the work area clean and organized at all times; and
- Any other duties as assigned by the Accountable Manager PAH.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
