✈️ Licensed Aircraft Technician (B1.1) – Join DHL Aviation at Copenhagen Airport!
Location: DHL Aviation, Copenhagen Airport (CPH)
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Ready to Keep Our Fleet Flying?
We're looking for a skilled and dedicated B1.1 Licensed Aircraft Technician to join our Line Maintenance team at Copenhagen Airport. In this role, you'll be part of DHL's international cargo operation, ensuring our Airbus A300, Boeing 757, and Boeing 767 aircraft operate safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
This is an opportunity to work in a highly specialized team with significant responsibility, technical autonomy, and a unique fixed shift pattern that offers regular weeks off and many free weekends.
Your role
As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer at CPH, you will perform line maintenance on DHL's Airbus A300, Boeing 757 and Boeing 767 aircraft.
Your responsibilities will vary between day and night shifts. Day shifts cover everything from short transit checks to scheduled maintenance, including L/A checks, while night shifts focus on transit maintenance.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Performing scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance, including troubleshooting and defect rectification.
- Documenting completed work in accordance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Issuing certificates of release to service within the scope of your authorizations.
We operate in a time-critical environment where safety, compliance and quality always come first.
An attractive shift pattern with regular weeks off
Our fixed day/night shift rotation provides regular weeks off and plenty of free weekends, giving you the opportunity to plan your time outside work.
For more details about our shift pattern, please feel free to contact Station Manager Simon Andersen.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a skilled aircraft engineer who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Beyond technical qualifications, we value the right attitude and a strong team spirit. You enjoy working in a small team, supporting your colleagues, and are willing to share your knowledge and learn from others.
What we expect from you
- A valid EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License, minimum category B1.1.
- At least one aircraft type rating endorsed on your Part-66 license. This does not need to be on one of DHL's aircraft types.
- Relevant and documented aircraft maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- A valid driving license.
- The legal right to work in Denmark.
- The ability to successfully complete the required background checks and obtain an airport ID card.
- Availability to work our day/night shift rotation.
It would be an advantage if you also have
- An additional B2 category on your Part-66 license.
- A type rating on the A300, B757 and/or B767.
- A type rating covering the Airbus A330 or A321, or relevant experience on either type.
You do not need to hold a type rating on our aircraft to apply. We provide relevant type training, and you must be willing to complete the required training on the A300 and B757.
What can you expect from DHL?
You will join a team with a high degree of independence and technical responsibility, working closely with colleagues across DHL's European maintenance organization.
We offer opportunities for professional development within an international aviation environment.
Your employment will be covered by the applicable collective agreement under the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI), together with local agreements.
At DHL Aviation, teamwork drives our success. Recognized as one of Denmark’s best workplaces, we thrive on diversity, respect, and results.
We empower our people with a safe, healthy environment to deliver excellence.
We are committed to equal opportunity and reject any forms of discrimination. The basis for employee selection at DHL Group is qualification, performance, skills and experience.
And with DPDHL’s mission for zero CO2 emissions by 2050, including planting one million trees annually, we’re building a sustainable future together.
📅 Recruitment is ongoing and interviews will be held continuously. Application deadline is 18.10.2026
