Internship Cabin Communications (all genders)

Do you love communication, have an eye for design and impact, and want to see how modern internal communication takes shape from complex processes at an international airline? Then join our Cabin Communications Team and help us shape the communication for our cabin crews.

Start Date: January 2027 – 6- to 12-month fixed-term contract

Tasks

With us, you won't just be pitching in—you'll contribute your own ideas, take on responsibility, and oversee communication initiatives from the development of workflows and general content all the way through to publication.

• You will assist in preparing information related to service and work processes, as well as relevant content for our cabin crews
• You will contribute to the design and further development of content for our internal communication channels and digital touchpoints
• You will tailor content to specific target audiences and help ensure compliance with our communication standards and tone
• You will collaborate on projects and campaigns aimed at enhancing the employee and customer experience, as well as our cabin crew communities
• You’ll help prepare, organize, and follow up on workshops, tests, events, and similar activities.
• You’ll collaborate with specialized departments and cross-functional teams within Austrian Airlines, gaining exciting insights into the world of cabin operations.

• You are enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences and will remain enrolled throughout the entire internship
• You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• You are interested in communication, media, or digital content.
• You enjoy writing and like to present information in a way that is clear and tailored to the target audience
• You bring creativity, initiative, and team spirit to the table
• You have a good command of MS Office and are interested in digital communication and collaboration tools
• Previous experience with content creation, social media, SharePoint, or creative tools is a plus
• You’re open to new topics and collaborating with different departments
• You have an unrestricted work permit for Austria/the EU
