Key Responsibilities

Role Purpose

Leverage AI and advanced analytics to interrogate procurement data, surface data gaps and value leakages, define and monitor the KPIs that close those gaps, and translate insights into actionable improvement plans. The role operates like a consultancy insight analyst — turning raw spend, supplier and process data into decision-grade intelligence for category and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Gap Identification (AI-enabled)

Deploy AI/ML tools to profile procurement data (spend, PO/PR, contract, supplier master) and detect gaps, anomalies, misclassification, and incomplete or ""dirty"" data.
Run AI spend classification and cleansing to build a single source of truth and improve spend visibility across all BUs and geographies.

2. KPI Definition & Monitoring

Design and maintain a KPI framework to track data quality and procurement performance — e.g. spend under management, data completeness/accuracy %, savings realisation vs. forecast, cycle time, supplier risk coverage, and Procurement Maturity Index.
Build and automate dashboards (e.g. Power BI) with alerts that flag gaps and performance drift in near real time.

3. Improvement Planning & Value Delivery

Convert findings into prioritised, costed improvement plans with clear owners, targets and timelines.
Recommend AI use cases (predictive sourcing, supplier risk monitoring, intake analytics) that lift KPIs and unlock savings.
Partner with category and Global Sourcing teams to embed insights into sourcing strategies and track closure of identified gaps.

4. Stakeholder & Reporting

Produce executive-ready insight packs and monthly management reporting; present findings and ""so-what"" recommendations to leadership.

Key Requirements

1. Analytics rigour: translates ambiguous, imperfect data into reliable, decision-grade insight
2. Business acumen: connects data findings to procurement value and commercial
3. Stakeholder influence: communicates the “so-what” persuasively across functions and seniority levels
4. Drive & ownership: self-directed in identifying gaps and driving improvement plans to closure

Degree in Data Analytics, Business, Supply Chain, Economics or related field, MBA preferred.
Hands-on with AI/analytics and BI tools (e.g. Power BI), SQL/Python a plus.
Strong data storytelling and executive communication; structured, hypothesis-led problem solving.
Bilingual (English + Mandarin/Japanese/Thai) advantageous given regional coverage.
