Based at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), HAECO Hong Kong offer a full range of services including airframe services, line services, component services, engine services, freighter conversions, technical training and AOG support.
Position Description
This position is primarily responsible for the end to end management of foreign trainees covering admission and on boarding, accommodation and daily life affairs, training studies, as well as psychological and cross cultural adaptation. It encompasses dormitory logistics and safety management, internship follow up, psychological counselling, and emergency incident response. The role requires multi party liaison with schools, government authorities, the Group and overseas partners to ensure the orderly study and living of foreign trainees in Xiamen. Overtime and response to after hours emergencies are required for this role.
What You'll Do
1、Take charge of foreign trainee admission management, covering visa application and admission notification. Coordinate with schools, trainees, government authorities, Group HR and overseas agents to guarantee timely visa issuance. Arrange airport pick up and dormitory accommodation for trainees arriving in Xiamen, complete residence related formalities including paperwork, medical checks, insurance and residence permit applications, coordinate admission ceremonies and distribute work uniforms, safety shoes and supplies.
2、Oversee dormitory check in/check out, facility ledgers, daily maintenance and regular safety inspections to ban unauthorised electrical appliances. Track utility fees, manage logistics such as access rights, catering, disinfection and public area cleaning. Monitor trainees’ off campus activities during holidays, submit statutory reports, offer medical assistance and perform guardian duties in emergencies. Enforce dormitory discipline for late return and overnight absence, conduct spot checks and deliver safety compliance education covering anti fraud, drowning prevention, fire & traffic safety, infectious disease prevention, anti pyramid schemes, confidentiality and legal compliance.
3、Coordinate training with instructors, prepare bilingual timetables, compile attendance data, gather teaching feedback and provide on site interpretation support. Keep daily liaison with hangar internship departments to follow trainee progress. Identify trainees’ psychological issues triggered by language barriers, pressure or homesickness, maintain mental health records and organise seminars. Respect diverse beliefs and customs, hold festival and Chinese corner events and mediate cross cultural conflicts.
4、Serve as 24/7 emergency contact, draw up contingency plans, support emergency drills and cooperate with authorities to handle trainee emergencies including acute illness and injuries. Fulfil other reasonable tasks assigned by the Training Department amid low workload periods.
