Head of HR IT Global Core Solutions

Play an active role in shaping the future of HR IT at the Lufthansa Group. In this key role, you will be responsible for central global HR platforms, drive digital transformation, and lead international teams in further developing a modern, secure, and harmonized HR system landscape.

Tasks

Take on strategic and operational responsibility for key HR IT solutions and play an active role in shaping the Lufthansa Group’s global HR system landscape.

Your responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the operation, security, and further development of the global HR core platforms (SAP SuccessFactors & ServiceNow HRSD)
• Advising HR stakeholders and translating business requirements into sustainable IT solutions
• Ensuring stable service and operations management in accordance with defined SLAs and governance requirements
• Further development of the HR IT architecture, including integrations, interfaces, and data flows
• Helping shape the HR IT strategy and integrating new Group companies into the global platform landscape
• Providing disciplinary and functional leadership to the team with a focus on diversity and the “Leadership Next Level” dimensions
• Supporting the team throughout the employee lifecycle (recruitment, motivation, and development)

Requirements

You combine strong leadership skills with in-depth HR IT expertise and successfully drive change in international organizations.

• A successfully completed master’s degree in computer science, business administration, industrial engineering, mathematics, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in HR IT, enterprise applications, or IT transformation
• Several years of leadership experience in international and complex organizational structures
• In-depth knowledge of modern HR platforms, ideally SAP SuccessFactors and ServiceNow
• Experience managing complex IT projects and external service providers
• Strong strategic, analytical, and entrepreneurial thinking
• Excellent communication skills and confident stakeholder management at all hierarchical levels
• Fluency in spoken and written German and English
