Your Role

As a Ground School Instructor / TKI, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical instruction in accordance with EASA standards, supporting student pilots through their academic journey from day one until final ATPL exams.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and comprehensive ground school instruction towards type rating courses, airline related training, and ATPL(A) subjects such as:

• Air Law
• Aircraft General Knowledge
• Instrumentation
• Mass and Balance
• Performance
• Flight Planning and Monitoring
• Human Performance and Limitations
• Meteorology
• General Navigation
• Radio Navigation
• Operational Procedures
• Principles of Flight
• Communications

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more ATPL topics
• Continuously develop and update training materials and teaching methods
• Monitor, evaluate, and mentor students' academic progress
• Work closely with flight instructors and training managers to ensure holistic student development
• Ensure full compliance with EASA Part-FCL, Part-ORA, and internal quality standards

Essential:

• Relevant academic and/or operational aviation background (civilian or military)
• Previous experience in an aviation education or training role (civilian or military)
• In-depth subject matter expertise in one or more ATPL theoretical subjects
• Strong communication and classroom delivery skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Eligible to work and reside Sweden/Norway (EU/EEC)

Preferred:

• EASA TKI (Theoretical Knowledge Instructor) authorization or equivalent
• Flight crew license (CPL, ATPL, or military equivalent)
• Instructional experience in an ATO environment
• Experience with CBTA (Competency-Based Training and Assessment) and modern learning platforms
