Design & Projects Manager - Luxury Interiors and Premium Environments

Working across in-station, outstation and designated UAE projects, you will lead interior design, fit-out and renovation programmes from concept through to commissioning. Your work will influence how our people, customers and partners experience our brand through space, material, detail and design.

In this role, you will

• Translate user requirements into thoughtfully resolved spaces, establishing clear specifications and cost frameworks that support quality, consistency, cost control and on-time delivery.
• Lead fit-out and renovation projects from vision to completion, ensuring each environment is delivered efficiently, cost-effectively and in accordance with Emirates Group standards.
• Define and embed interior design standards across commercial properties, creating a consistent design language while ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Protect the integrity of the design vision, reviewing material, finish and design submissions from consultants, contractors and suppliers to secure the right balance of quality, suitability, craftsmanship and commercial value.
• Direct project delivery with precision, monitoring progress against programme, design, cost and quality expectations while maintaining timely alignment across stakeholders.
• Drive consistent building and project standards, overseeing construction and renovation activities and working with the Facilities commercial unit to develop effective space-planning standards.
• Partner with user departments across the UAE and international outstations, providing expert guidance on construction and renovation requirements from early definition through execution and commissioning.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and stakeholders, maintaining momentum, resolving delivery challenges and securing efficient completion certification.

Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

Qualification

• Degree or Honours qualification in Architecture or a related discipline, preferably with a specialisation in interior design and project management.

Experience

• A demonstrable portfolio of successfully delivered high-end interior design, fit-out and refurbishment projects, evidencing the quality, scale and complexity of your previous work.
• More than eight years’ experience within facilities, maintenance or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in interior design, fit-out and project management for large-scale commercial or corporate environments.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Proven delivery of large-scale fit-out and refurbishment projects.

Knowledge and skills

• Strong knowledge of interior design and corporate fit-out standards.
• Expertise in project management and end-to-end delivery.
• Sound capability in cost control, budgeting and value engineering.
• Experience in contract and vendor management.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and statutory compliance.
• Highly developed stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• The ability to provide direction, think commercially, engage others, develop talent and deliver with focus.

You will contribute to the planning, control and delivery of interior design, fit-out and refurbishment capital projects across Emirates assets, with project values exceeding AED 250 million. You will help ensure that investment is managed within approved budgets, authorised limits and established governance controls, without compromising the quality or integrity of the final environment.
