Job Overview and Responsibilities

This role is crucial in translating complex data into actionable insights that inform business strategy, optimize operations, and drive growth. The Data Analytics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire analytics lifecycle, from data collection and processing to analysis, reporting, and presentation of findings to stakeholders across various departments.

• Responsible for the prioritization and planning efforts for the data engineering team spanning across multiple domains
• Partner with key stakeholders to understand their data needs, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and translate business questions into analytical problems
• Design, develop, and implement analytical frameworks, models, and dashboards to extract meaningful insights from large, complex datasets
• Manage dependencies and set priorities across multiple domains to maintain alignment to the Product release vision and roadmap
• Conduct in-depth analyses to identify trends, patterns, and root causes, providing data-driven recommendations to improve business performance
• Collaborate with data governance and application development teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility
• Responsible for tasks related to development/production readiness, product demo and user acceptance
• Develop and present clear, concise, and compelling reports, visualizations, and presentations to various audiences, including senior leadership

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree in Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, or equivalent in computer science or related STEM field
• 3+ years of total IT experience as either a Product Owner/Business Data Analyst or as a Software Engineer
• 3+ years of overall Data Analytics / Engineering experience in either AWS or Azure Cloud environments
• 3+ years of experience with Big Data technologies like PySpark, DataBricks, Palantir Foundry, Kafka, Redshift, etc.
• 3+ years of experience with relational database systems like MS SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata
• Experience with Visualization tools such as Power-BI, Spotfire, OBIEE, BO, Cognos, Quicksight etc
• Knowledge of data analysis and big data
• Requirements gathering and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Ability to create product roadmaps and prioritize features
• Experience with Agile/Scrum-based development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, iterative development environments
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

• AWS Certification
• 5+ years of total IT experience as either a Product Owner/Business Data Analyst or as a Software Engineer
• Strong experience with continuous integration & delivery using Agile methodologies
• Experience with transportation/airline industry

The base pay range for this role is $112,480.00 to $146,540.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
