Role Introduction

Join Cathay Pacific as a Configuration Analyst, you will support the Amadeus Altea Suites Configuration team which manages and maintains Cathay Pacific’s business rules and systems configuration for Inventory, Revenue Management, Seating, Disruption as well as supporting project development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and implement ongoing Altea new features, releases and enhancements relating for Inventory, Revenue Management, Seating, Disruption
  • Efficiently change/manage business rules, system configuration, user access rights and new versions. Carry out testing, implementation and ensure properly setup in production
  • Engage Amadeus Solution/Product Manager for clarification via conference calls/face-to-face meetings
  • Perform end to end investigation including partner systems behaviour in order to handle business users & end users enquiries / irregularity reports relating to Altea suites
  • Lead and coordinate projects for new features and business unit requirement, including prepare test plans, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), end-to-end testing, and ensure successful implementation in production environments
  • Engage IMT and relevant stakeholders to decide what features shall be activated
  • Handle remedy assigned by ITSC to answer business users & end users enquiries and irregularity reports relating to Altea Suites systems. Raise CS/CP for Amadeus Altea investigation. Monitor 1A performance, SLA and system stability. Provide 24x7 on call support
  • Provide trouble-shooting support
  • Maintenance Altea Suites regular reports if any
  • Contribute to the documentation for Inventory and Seating and prepare weekly 1A call summary on routine

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience with at least 3 years in the PSS Altea Suites domain
  • Proven expertise in Altea Suites Application Administration
  • In depth familiarity with Airline Operations
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills are required. Willing to prepare communication materials, facilitate meetings, and present to the Business Unit
  • The preparedness to take accountability
  • Background in business or system analysis is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making capabilities are necessary, along with the capacity to identify patterns and generate innovative ideas
  • Candidates should be adaptable to changes, regardless of business trends, organizational shifts, or job responsibilities. Take initiative to learn new tools and suggest ideas that align with company and business trends proactivity.
