Cargo Sales Executive - Glasgow

• Deliver agreed cargo revenue, contribution, and profitability targets by developing and maintaining strong commercial relationships with freight forwarders, consolidators, cargo agents, key corporate accounts, and other stakeholders across both online and offline markets.
• Promote Emirates SkyCargo's full portfolio of products and services, ensuring high levels of market awareness and customer engagement throughout the assigned territory.
• Identify and develop new export and import business opportunities through continuous market assessment, customer research, Power BI sales lead analysis, and targeted business development activities.
• Prospect for and secure new business by conducting formal customer presentations, demonstrating the value of Emirates SkyCargo solutions and tailoring proposals to meet specific customer requirements.
• Explore and capitalize on new revenue opportunities within offline and feeder markets by developing and implementing effective commercial strategies to win and retain business.
• Monitor market developments, customer trends, competitor activities, and emerging threats, providing recommendations and executing initiatives to strengthen Emirates SkyCargo's market position.
• Maintain accurate customer relationship management (CRM) records, sales activity reports, and commercial statistics including rates, volumes, revenues, yields, and seasonal trends. Produce regular performance analyses and account reviews, with recommendations to maximize customer support, growth potential, and appropriate credit management.
• Represent Emirates SkyCargo at industry events, trade functions, customer meetings, and corporate hospitality activities to strengthen relationships and enhance brand visibility.

Qualification

• Educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent
• Experience in a Cargo Operations environment, including field sales experience with an airline/freight forwarder
• Knowledge of cargo operations and have completed advanced training in cargo acceptance and dangerous goods handling
• Thorough understanding of Airline cargo sales, including pricing strategies
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
• Excellent presentation skills
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively at all levels
• Self-motivated, and pro-active with the ability to work on own initiative
• Valid driving licence.
