Baggage Services Agent - DWC

Job Purpose

As a Baggage services Agent you will perform baggage related activities at DWC in line with dnata's safety and operational standards, ensuring optimum service quality to our customers.

In this role, you will:

• Lead by example in promoting safe working practices and ensuring equal workload distribution across the team.
• Conduct safety briefings at the start of each shift and intervene immediately when safety risks are identified.
• Organize daily operations to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with procedures and service standards.
• Ensure outsourced teams understand their responsibilities and meet SLA requirements.
• Brief team members on daily responsibilities, provide guidance, and deliver performance feedback.
• Oversee baggage sortation, handling, loading, offloading, arrival, transfer, and departure activities to meet operational timelines.
• Escalate operational issues to the Supervisor when required and support manual handling activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, standard operating procedures, and operational requirements.
• Monitor the serviceability of equipment and support systems, taking corrective action in case of breakdowns or failures.
• Maintain accurate shift records and documentation while coordinating effectively with relevant stakeholders to support smooth operations.

Qualification

To be consider for this role, you will have to meet the below requirements:

• Possess a High School Certificate
• Have a minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in business administration, aviation, ground handling, customer Service.
• Possess English Level 4 - (internal candidates)

Additional consideration will given to candidates who have:

• A UAE driving licence or Home country driving licence,
• Good written and spoken communication
