Each base is managed by a current line Captain supported by a dedicated crew development team, there to manage your professional and personal journey.
Our B737 regular schedule is almost entirely 2 sector days with full time Captains flying on average less than 750 hours each year.
Our in-house ATO has 2 UK based training centres, and Captains are eligible for over 20 secondary roles in our training, technical or pastoral teams.

If you would like to be considered to become a Jet2 Captain on our Boeing 737 fleet, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- 3,000 hours total flying time with 1,000 hours PIC on B737 or similar sized jet aircraft. Ideally, large jet command time in the last 3 years.
- A valid UK unfrozen Flight Crew Licence
- Minimum English Language Proficiency Level 5
- Current Class One Medical
- You must hold a current B737 Type Rating
- A high basic salary – not hours dependent with competitive flight and sector pay.
- Stable basing, confirmed at the point of offer
- Transparent and fair base transfer policy – based on seniority of request rather than time in company
- Two sector days - with options for a.m or p.m preferencing
- Roster publication in week one of each month covering to the last day of the following month.
