B1 LAME (ATR 72-600/ Dash 8 Classic)

Our client is a leading domestic operator providing both passenger and charter solutions in Papua New Guinea.

They are currently looking for B1 LAMEs (ATR 72-600/ Dash 8 Classic) who will take on the responsibility of maintaining the aircraft in accordance with both regulatory and organizational requirements.

This is a position on an equal touring rotation (3 weeks or 6 weeks) with accommodation, flights, transport, meals, provided at base. Further type ratings will be offered to successful candidates with the right aptitude and calibre too.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance of the organization's fleet of ATR aircraft to ensure their airworthiness and compliance to all requirements.
• Handle and rectify all airframe/engine-related maintenance for both scheduled and unscheduled checks.
• Performs and certifies aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with the appropriate manuals, policies and procedures.
• Carry out maintenance work on other fleet types from time to time as well.
• Work effectively in a team to ensure operational requirements are met while also ensuring zero compromise to quality and safety parameters.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer working on ATRs from a hands-on approach.
• ATR 72 rating is necessary.
• ICAO or another foreign license acceptable to the local CAA.
