Job Overview and Responsibilities


The Aviation Security Coordinator is responsible for develop and implement and ensure full enforcement of UAL Security Program.

  • Develop and implement and ensure full enforcement of UAL Security Program
  • Ensure that UAL complies with the TSA, ANAC and other relevant security requirements
  • Conduct initial and comprehensive survey of airlines facilities, equipment, and activities
  • Cooperate with other aviation security related institutions, such as federal and state police, customs, immigration office and other
  • Develop and implement preventive security measures in accordance with UAL Security Program
  • To act upon the identification and of imminent security threats of negative security trends
  • To minimalize the consequences of such security related events, should they occur

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • AVSEC trainings by ANAC (AVSEC Basic, X-Ray AVSEC, AVSEC for Aircraft Operator and AVSEC for Airport Operator)
  • Training/certification issued by ANAC with focus on AVSEC trainings by ANAC (AVSEC Basic, X-Ray AVSEC, AVSEC for Aircraft Operator and AVSEC for Airport Operator)
  • 5 years
  • Solid knowledge with the set of Brazilian Environment legislation
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Brazil for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be fluent in Portuguese (written and spoken) and be able to communicate effectiveness in English
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Associate degree
  • Driver license category B or above
  • Passport with US B1/B2 visa
  • Knowledge and understanding of TSA, DOD, ICAO, IATA and ANAC regulations and recommendations
  • Audit TSA and ANAC experience
  • Airport Operator Security requirements knowledge
  • Hangar requirements operations knowledge
