- Oversee a team focused on maximizing production throughput by:
- Maintaining program schedules and current engineering releases, reacting in a timely manner and exhibiting good decision making when changes occur.
- Ensure that operations are analyzed for maximum efficiencies and continuous improvements are made to ensure that production activities are completed efficiently.
- Create and approve standard operating procedures as required.
Production Planning
- Plan and implement Boeing / Airbus aircraft maintenance programs and ensuring all mandatory airworthiness tasks meet regulatory and operational requirements.
- Provide hands-on leadership to a Production Planning team focused on meeting and optimizing production schedule.
- Monitor and track the task deferments during the checks and coordinate with the Planning team for re-plan of the tasks.
- Ensure accuracy of the reports and declarations sent by service providers and processes are followed.
- Lead teams to follow up daily progress of the hangar checks and
- Lead teams to propose spare movement and tracking with store in close coordination with materials management.
- Lead teams to conduct maintenance forecasting and creation of maintenance slots.
Team Management
- Lead the team and provide direction on execution / implementation of tasks by prioritizing functional and organization goals.
- Support team members in collaborating across multiple internal/external stakeholders.
- Support, nurture, and develop the team members’ skills.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
- Engineering degree (aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionics, production) or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
- 8-10 years relevant work experience in aircraft maintenance or Planning
