About the Role

As an AOG Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and returning aircraft to service in both planned and unscheduled maintenance situations.

This is a highly autonomous role requiring technical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to perform effectively in demanding operational environments. You will frequently travel to support aircraft at remote locations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Working closely with Maintenance Control, Engineering, Flight Operations, and fellow maintenance professionals, you will help minimize aircraft downtime and ensure the continued airworthiness of our fleet.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

Success in this role means responding quickly and effectively to aircraft-on-ground events, accurately diagnosing technical issues, performing safe and compliant repairs, and returning aircraft to service while maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship, documentation, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform airframe and powerplant repairs, inspections, modifications, troubleshooting activities, and maintenance tasks in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Diagnose aircraft system faults and determine appropriate corrective actions to restore airworthiness.
  • Remove, disassemble, inspect, repair, assemble, and install aircraft components and systems.
  • Conduct functional checks and operational testing following maintenance activities.
  • Operate maintenance equipment, power tools, and specialized tooling safely and effectively.
  • Accurately complete maintenance records, technical documentation, and work reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, EASA regulations, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
  • Interpret technical manuals, maintenance data, engineering instructions, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment both on-site and during remote maintenance assignments.
  • Provide professional support to internal and external customers while representing the company at maintenance locations worldwide.
  • Travel as required to support AOG events throughout Europe and internationally.
  • Support additional maintenance activities and operational projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid EASA Part-66 B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
  • Previous hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, ideally within a business aviation, corporate aviation, or airline maintenance environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of EASA Part-145 regulations and maintenance practices.
  • Legal right to work in Italy.
  • Ability to travel internationally, including throughout the UK, EU, US, and other destinations served by the company.
  • Professional working proficiency in English (minimum C1 level).
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Type ratings on Gulfstream G650 and/or Embraer EMB550 aircraft.
  • Experience supporting Aircraft on Ground (AOG) maintenance operations.
  • Previous experience working independently at remote maintenance locations.
  • Experience within a business aviation maintenance organization.
  • Additional aircraft type ratings
  • Italian language proficiency.

  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance standards, airworthiness requirements, and regulatory compliance.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in time-critical environments.
  • Attention to detail in both maintenance execution and technical record keeping.
  • Ability to perform effectively under operational pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to travel extensively as operational requirements dictate.

Compensation & Benefits

Contract

  • Permanent employment contract under CCNL Trasporto Aereo with a 7 on 7 off roster
  • Compensation package determined based on qualifications and experience (licenses, experience and type-ratings)
  • Salary range: €90,000 - €120,000 gross annual salary + 10% deferred compensation.

Base location

  • Milan Linate Airport (LIML), regular international travel required.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
