Alliances and Partnerships Analyst
Fiji Airways is seeking a commercially minded and analytically driven Alliances & Partnerships Analyst to join our Revenue, Network & Alliances team.
This role drives revenue growth for Fiji Airways' Alliances and Partnerships team by managing airline partnerships and agreements through relationship building, negotiation, and data analysis. It requires strong reporting, monitoring, and stakeholder communication-especially with international airlines-while overseeing the full partnership lifecycle to maximize revenue and optimize traffic flows onto Fiji Airways network.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop strong strategic relationships with airline partners, driving collaboration, revenue opportunities, and resolving high impact commercial issues.
- Develop partnership performance frameworks and translate data into actionable strategies that support creative problem solving and identifies revenue opportunities.
- Manage the full lifecycle of airline partnerships, including Codeshare, Interline, Frequent Flyer, Through Check-in, and Staff Travel agreements, to maximize revenue, efficiency, and competitiveness.
- Deliver commercial analysis and insights that support informed decision-making and drive revenue growth across partnerships and alliance channels.
- Monitor and report on partnership performance, identifying trends and opportunities to optimize traffic flows across the Fiji Airways network.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics to evaluate partnership effectiveness and ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
- Represent Fiji Airways in alliance discussions, advocating for the airline's commercial interests and strategic objectives.
- Identify and implement improvements to partnership processes and reporting frameworks to enhance commercial outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and international airline partners to successfully deliver partnership initiatives.
- Prepare clear and impactful reports, presentations, briefs, and communications to support stakeholder understanding and decision-making.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to support the delivery of partnership and alliance initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance commercial and operational performance.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve profitability, reduce costs, and enhance customer outcomes through market and industry analysis.
- Monitor competitor and partner activity, assessing risks and opportunities and providing recommendations to support business decisions.
- Support strategic projects through analysis, insights, and recommendations that contribute to successful delivery.
- Evaluate strategic opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to drive process improvements and informed decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A Degree in Economics, Law, Commerce, International Business Marketing, Public Administration or a related discipline from a recognized University.
- Certification in Contractual Law would be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 3 years' corporate experience, or at least 2 years' experience in a similar role within the airline industry.
- Team player and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive can-do attitude.
- Excellent presentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to shoulder additional responsibilities as required.
- Prior experience of having worked in or been part of a multi-cultural environment will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of alliances & partnerships would be an added advantage.
