About the Role

Based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, the Airport Services Duty Supervisor will oversee daily airport operations, coordinate service providers and support the safe, secure and on-time handling of Qatar Airways flights while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day airport operations during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate airport service providers to ensure operational standards are met.
• Monitor flight handling activities to support safe and punctual operations.
• Lead and support frontline teams to achieve service excellence.
• Conduct operational checks and ensure compliance with safety and security requirements.
• Manage customer service issues and support service recovery when required.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational matters.
• Support disruption management and emergency response activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the station.

Qualification

About You

Experience within an airline, airport or ground handling environment.

Previous supervisory experience.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to lead teams and make sound operational decisions.

Good knowledge of airport operations and safety requirements.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to work shifts and under operational pressure.

Must currently have the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
